David Roach

Chartered Town Planner

David qualified as a chartered town planner in 2002 after gaining BA (Hons) in Town & Country Planning. He has worked in private practice in London since this time, working for AECOM and Avison Young before joining DP9 as a Director in 2013.

David has specialised in advising UK and overseas private sector clients, including property developers, funds and institutions, high net worth individuals and family offices in optimising the development potential of sites through the planning process, with a focus on Central London.

His experience includes securing planning permissions for super prime residential such as No.1 Grosvenor Square; high density city living such as Whitechapel Central; large scale mixed use development such Tottenham Hotspur Football Club stadium and it associated developments; commercial office buildings such as 101 Whitechapel High Street; and leisure and tourism uses including the Knightsbridge Park Tower Hotel.

He leveraged his experience and regional expertise to develop one of the most significant logistics and distribution businesses in Central Asia, based in Azerbaijan.

Javad attained a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Cardiff and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with PwC.
